Deb Henigson!

Tell your life story in 3 sentences.
Born & raised in Los Angeles (and proud). Moved to the bay area to go to school and get away from my mom. It worked so well, I'm still here. =^)

How did you get involved in dance?
I visited stanford w/my best friend, and stayed in Junipero for a few days (our own little pro-fro experience). The dorm happened to have 6 members of the Vintage Dance Ensemble living in it (Richard's performance group). I mentioned that I liked swing dancing, so this guy John (the drummer of Sinister Dexter, if anyone remembers them) took me to a Social Dance 3 class. I was hooked from the beginning. That one class convinced me to come to Stanford, despite the expense (I was gonna go to UCSC, yay Slugs!).

What do you do besides dancing?
Hang out with people, read, travel, rollerblade, make websites, play frisbee, start crafts projects...oh yeah, and work at the Big G.

What are your life goals?
To be happy and contribute to others' happiness.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Oh man...flying...telekinesis...very controllable telepathy (imagine being able to implant the suggestion in the Pope's mind that God approves of birth control)...such a hard choice. Ok. For selfish reasons, flying. For do-the-world-some-good reasons, controllable telepathy. I can live without telekinesis. =^)
